| On a cool fall October morning in 2006, our small
town was rocked to the core of a senseless and brutal murder on one of our
exclusive streets with large, well-to-do homes. An older couple, aged 91
and 81, married for most of their lives, was killed in the middle of the
night, and their home was set afire, successfully destroyed any evidence
of who might have been the culprit, capable of such unspeakable cruelty.
The shell of the house still stands, barricaded behind chain link perimeter. The house has called me to visit for three years, and finally the time seems right. The first trip was without a camera of any kind, but proved to be a sensitve overloading journey. The second trip the following night, armed with camera equipment, revealed a constant array of round objects in the air and in front of the house. Seven shots show extremely bright orbs, several of them in obvious motion with sequential shots. Unable to prove the constant activity above and about the house are actual orbs opposed to dust, I have refrained from publishing any of the 48 pictures taken quickly, in sequence. Both orbs and dust would show similar movement on a windless night. We were outside the chain link fence, standing quite still on grass and cement during our shoot in order to prevent disturbing the ground. The objects appear to be above the house although we cannot prove distance. We find it odd a house of such history would have such heavy dust movement when there is little to no dust creating activity. |
